Mom was in Austin this week for a conference and we were glad to see her for a couple of nights!
We took a stroll around the U.T. campus:

The next day we went to the Ransom Center on campus where we enjoyed an Edgar Allan Poe exhibit, and saw the Gutenberg Bible, the first photo ever taken, and Frida Kahlo's Self Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird. We also tried to visit the Texas State History Museum, but it cost $7. So we checked out the gift shop!
